"With a handful of seeds, I dream of forests." The scope of SEEDS is not easily discernible - much like our individual journeys, difficult to define. It's hope, however, is to encourage participants to dig deeper. To move past the 'how's' and 'what's' of our craft so that we may tune into it's essence : WHY we do what we do. For people aren't moved by WHAT you do, more so WHY you do it.
This is NOT an 'easy button' presentation. It is not intended to illustrate photographic technique, gear selection, posing, lighting or anything photo-related really. I will not discuss topics that can be googled. Instead, it is intended to get people thinking about purpose. To address core motivations. To challenge themselves with the most essential question - WHY?? ...and inso doing, reveal insecurities and vulnerabilities that we all experience. We all struggle with these and my hope is to create an environment where participants feel free to express the good and the bad. Finding comfort in community and peace within themselves. I realize that enlightenment is a lofty mission statement so I see it more as challenging first step.
